In our second session, we head to Piedmont and explore a range of wines and varieties produced within.

The zone of Piedmont is known for its structured reds from Nebbiolo grape and the Langhe region in general. Barolo and Barbaresco being most famous.

This session is an overview of the wines and next we will have a detailed focus on the Nebbiolo grape and the villages of Barolo and Barbaresco.

Torbeck Dinner - Run Rig is 21!!

Join Torbreck ambassador Ben Yoffa and Vinified's' own head sommelier for an evening of Torbreck Wines, celebrating the ICONIC **RUNRIG Shiraz!

This will be an unforgettable evening paying homage to the vineyards of the Barossa Valley, as well as espousing the virtue of collecting wine in large format bottles. Yes that's right, and the only way to do that is to drink Magnum's of the stuff!

The aim of the night will be taste through a range of current wines and compare them to some aged examples.

You will taste both white and red wines across the range including a pre release of the Amazing 21st release of the ICON Run Rig. Alongside a bracket off 100 Point wines! This wine will not be available in big chain stores and most of the stock is exported overseas or sold to wine collectors and rarely do you get a chance to taste it.

A delicious 3 course inventive menu by the at Carlton Wine Room will be shared as you are guided through some vinous history in an intimate setting all of while devouring almost a dozen top class wines from this iconic producer.

Join us in the upstairs private dining room at SAXE as we explore the fruits of the legendary Heathcote producer 'Wild Duck Creek Estate'.  

Luke Campbell from Vinified, with Liam Anderson (Winemaker) Wild Duck will host this Standout Shiraz dinner. 

This will be both and unbelievable dining experience and a celebration of Vinified 10 years in business. The line up will include 10 standout wines and all accompanied by a 4 course menu specifically designed for these wines.

We will be tasting some of the best examples Wild Duck Creek's range including; some brand new releases. Every year this is a sell out dinner on our calendar, this year we are also including some aged examples so you can gain an understanding of how the wines will cellar.

According to the Wine Ark Classification, Lake's Folly is one of Australia's most collected wines (it’s no. 2, second only to Penfolds Grange). As well as presenting two of his Cabernets on the day we will also have a Q and A with Rod and get his take on aged wines in Australia.
