Overeem distillery is located in Hobart, where the pristine environment provides soft, pure water from the slopes of Mount Wellington, premium quality barley & the perfect climate for whisky production. Casey O'Brien founded the distillery in 2007 with a vision to produce whisky that 'would proudly stand alongside the best whiskies in the world'. He and his team have certainly achieved that, the awards and accolades are numerous. These days the mantle has been handed to Jane Overeem & her husband Mark, who are continuing the very fine work.
