We have had a huge coup, for our next round of Secrets of Cellaring: We have secured Rod Kempe from Lake’s Folly. According to the Wine Ark Classification, Lake's Folly is one of Australia's most collected wines (it’s no. 2, second only to Penfolds Grange). As well as presenting two of his Cabernets on the day we will also have a Q and A with Rod and get his take on aged wines in Australia. It is also worth noting that Lake’s Folly never do public tastings, so this truly is a rare and very special event!

During the masterclass, you will taste several examples of current release wines vs the aged counterparts to gain an understanding of how a wine matures. Riesling, Pinot Noir and Cabernet are just some of the styles we will taste on the day, you will learn what styles you prefer with age, how to tell if a wine will age.
Plus we are also going to have a Q and A with special guest winemaker Rodney Kempe (Lake's Folly - Hunter Valley) to discuss his opinions on aged wine in Australia. Lake's Folly is one of Australia's most iconic wine brands and one of Australia's most collected wines.
