2023 Rouler Yarra Valley Pinot Gris et all is a vibrant orange tinged colour from a touch of judicious skin contact, brimming with orchard blossoms, mandarin & a hint of Turkish delight (delivered by the tiny percentage of gewurtztraminer), there's pear, citrus and baked apple at its' core, elegant mineral acidity & subtle grip complete the excellent package.
2021 Menhir Salento 'Novementi' Rose has been a firm highlight this year, super crisp, clean & direct yet gently textural, offering wild peppered strawberries & a distinctive sage note rendering the wine as both a stand alone option as well as an excellent gastronomic offering. Very good value.
2022 Stephano Lubiana 'Primavera' Pinot Noir must be one of the greatest examples of this wine that we can recall, it's deftly balanced, supple & slippery, ripe red cherries, a rose petal perfume & sherbet like acidity render it ultimately slurpable.
